First Day Cover- Canada 1958 Health Stamp

A cover bearing postage stamps postmarked and sent through the post on the first day. The usage of this stamp was officially authorized. Special postmarks have been used for this purpose

 

First Flight Cover-Sydney to London,1970

A cover which has been carried on the first mail flight between two points. It can be identified by either the postmarks or by some special cachet.

A picture postcard bearing a postage stamp and postmark relevant to the picture on the card. The stamp and the postmark are usually placed on the picture side to heighten the effect.
